XRECODE3 is audio converter, which supports most of the common audio formats, such as mp3, wav, flac, dsd, etc. It also supports extracting audio file from most video files as well as Audio-CD grabbing.

DIY/Do It Yourself: Upgrade to the Latest Release

Requirements 7-Zip, NPP/Notepad++ or other text editor, PortableApps.com Launcher Generator/PAL, PortableApps.com Installer/PAI.

Well use the 32/64 bit edition as example, you can infer from this example to upgrade the 32 bit only edition.
Get the latest portable app. template, and extract the content with 7-Zip.
Get the latest XRECODE3 release (7z format)�both the 32/64 bit "portable" and "console" version.
Use 7-Zip to extract both "portable version" package contents to XRECODEPortable _3264App folder,
For the "console version",
- extract setup_xrecode3_win_32bit_console_1.11 contents to XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODECLI32 folder; and
- setup_xrecode3_win_64bit_console_1.11 to XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODECLI64 folder,
Browse to XRECODEPortable _3264App folder,
- Delete XRECODE32 folder ? rename XRECODE3_Win32 to XRECODE32,
- Delete XRECODE64 folder ? rename XRECODE3_Win64 to XRECODE64,
Delete portable folder from these folders:
- XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODE32
- XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODE64
- XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODECLI32
- XRECODEPortable _3264AppXRECODECLI64
We had moved it to XRECODEPortable _3264AppDefaultData folder.
Browse to XRECODEPortable _3264AppAppInfo and open appinfo.ini file with NPP. Replace the [Version] section with the latest version number. Make sure the PackageVersion entry is in 4 place digit, eg. 1.0.0.71 not 1.0.71 nor 1.71. We decide to put "71" in the last digit place�a usual place for "build number"�but it can be "1.71.0.0" too if you like.
Run PAL, paste the template folder address, and click Go�the new launcher will be created,
Test the new launcher by following this guide.
When all is OK, then delete the XRECODEPortable _3264Data folder and run PAI, paste the package folder address, and click Go�to create the installer package.
Use the installer package to upgrade your portable application. Dont forget to at least backup your Data folder before any upgrade :)
If you find any changes thats not handled by the launcher, consult the PAL help file to modify the launcher yourself or ask for our paid upgrade support.
